Position: Registered Nurse – Surgical ICU (SICU)
Location: Cape Town (Central)

A leading private healthcare group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver specialised, patient‑centred care within a dynamic Surgical ICU environment. The role requires advanced clinical competence, sound judgement, and the ability to coordinate holistic care within a multi‑disciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert assessment, planning and implementation of specialised nursing care.
- Acting as a clinical resource and patient advocate to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.
- Leading emergency interventions and maintaining best‑practice standards.
- Supporting continuous training, mentoring and professional development within the unit.
- Ensuring effective communication, teamwork and optimal utilisation of resources.
Requirements:
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC.
- Strong knowledge of specialised nursing theory, ICU principles and modern clinical practice.
- Post Basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing highly preferred or at least 4-5 years experience within ICU
