Our client, a private hospital has an opportunity for a Unit Manager for Theatre. The following applies:
 
Responsibilities:
    • Manage acuities and skill mix in such a way as to ensure cost effective quality care
    • Manage all costs emanating from the department
    • Ensure correct billing, stock management and purchasing
    • Facilitate timeous and accurate compilation of files
    • Identify quality improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate strategy and Quality Improvement initiatives are developed and measured
 
Requirements:
    • A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur Degree) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
    • Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
    • A post-basic qualification in Operating Room Nursing Science will be advantageous
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the operating theatre complex (within private hospital setting)
    • A relevant management qualification will be advantageous
    • Experience in clinical leadership
    • Sound financial knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data

In accordance the incumbent will be accountable for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, and training.
 
Requirements:

Position Purpose:
Seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse to join our client’s Provider Relations division. The primary focus will be managing and investigating fraud cases in collaboration with the Special Investigations team, while ensuring that cases are resolved promptly and reports are submitted as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Investigate fraud cases flagged by the Fraud Forum, following guidance from relevant stakeholders.
    • Prepare and submit internal and external case reports to management and the Scheme.
    • Resolve issues according to company procedures and escalate when necessary.
    • Handle additional projects related to the Service Provider Network environment as required.
    • Attend Fraud Forum meetings and workshops, providing feedback to the team.
    • Conduct comprehensive investigations of cases, including provider claim profiles.
    • Ensure quality control of all information received from internal teams and external Service Provider Networks.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
    • Registered Nurse with 3-4 years of relevant nursing experience in the private healthcare sector.
    • Previous experience in Clinical Auditing or Clinical Claims Assessing is essential.
    • Prior Case Management background with progression into Clinical Auditing preferred
    • CFE certification is highly advantageous

Provides support for control improvements and remediation activities including standardisation, new processes, systems and new organisational constructs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all promotional material and packaging is legally compliant with the relevant statutory laws, regulations, rules and standards.
  • Approving all artwork pieces in compliance with specified guidelines (requires a sound knowledge in both the English & Afrikaans languages). SAHPRA Regulations Act 101 of 1965; Foodstuff, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act 54 of 1972, and Trade and Metrology Act.
  • Ensure corrective action for meetings, events and other activities in line with the applicable regulatory framework.
  • Ensure that all samples requested are appropriately approved and documented according to the regulatory framework.
  • Review and approve SOPs for the Compliance department, as well as establish the need for additional controls or processes for effective quality control.
  • Provide training of all relevant staff on the Marketing Code of practice, as well as ensuring MCA certification is obtained.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy with registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
  • Experience in Generic product marketing
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the Regulatory or related environment
