BRAND MANAGER – Consumer

Job Purpose:
Acts as the key link between the brand, customers, and consumers by leveraging valuable insights. Their primary goal is to drive brand loyalty by improving both customer and consumer experiences in a dynamic market, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
 
Minimum requirements:
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
 
Experience:
  • 3+ years in Brand Management, ideally in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical and complementary industries.
  • Knowledge of non-scheduled and S0 products (experience in vitamins, supplements, and complementary medicine is a plus).
  • Direct-to-consumer advertising (ATL, BTL, TTL) experience required.
 
Skills:
  • Strong business acumen (sales, volume, GP, full P&L reporting).
  • Analytical skills with experience in data tools like IQVIA, IMS, QlikView.
  • Project management expertise and ability to support sales teams.
 
Behavioral Qualities:
  • Performance-driven, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Organized with strong relationship-building skills
  • Billingual in English & Afrikaans 
 
Key responsibilities:
 
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
  • Analyze markets, competitors, and customer insights to shape brand strategies.
  • Develop and implement plans for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
  • Leverage IQVIA, IMS, SSD, and QlikView data.
 
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track product performance (sales, GP, ROI) and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage budgets and communicate results to leadership.
 
Regulatory & Quality Insight:
  • Ensure compliance with SAHPRA and CAMS guidelines in collaboration with regulatory teams.
 
Product Development & Management:
  • Work with R&D to meet market needs and oversee product positioning.
 
Brand Management & Marketing:
  • Create and implement marketing strategies aligned with brand goals.
 
Sales Support & Collaboration:
  • Support sales teams with training and strategy development; analyze sales data.
 
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Engage with industry events and maintain relationships with key partners
