Our Pharmaceutical Industry client, requires a Pharmacist who will be responsible for review, implementation and maintenance of Pharmacovigilance compliance.
Qualification and Experience Required, but not limited to:
    • Pharmacist degree and South African Pharmacy Council registration
    • GMP and safety experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing sector
    • Average of 2 years recent Pharmacovigilance experience gained in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector
    • The ability to review, implement and update Pharmacovigilance processes/ procedures
    • Manage and update SOPs for legal PV and other requirements
    • Maintain all relevant documents accurately and timeously
    • Monitor and ensure guidelines are compliant, implemented and adhered
    • Ensure employees are correctly trained on all required procedures to follow regarding adverse event reports
    • Report all adverse events and safety documents timeously
    • Responsible for preparation of medical assessments in risk assessments for major incidents
    • Partake in translation of PIs, PILs along with other forms of artwork prior to printing, review Marketing Activities relating to Patient Orientated Programs, ensure all possible program initiated by the marketing division is reviewed and proper measures are in place to collect possible adverse event reports
    • Review scientific literature timeously for all possible adverse events relating to products
    • Manage customer complaints and partake in the investigation, and preparing of investigation report, CAPA assignment and implementation with the trending of customer complaints and AEs
    • Continuously review all PV activities and requirements
    • Follow procedures in order to keep the vendor list current
    • Partake in inspections as the lead or support auditor as required
