Registered Nurse - Theatre Qualified

•  Patient care and counselling.
• Performing rostered weekend duties/ emergency relief on call duties.
• Co-operate and collaborate with other hospital departments to provide quality patient care.
• Required to serve on relevant committees within department.
• Supervise and evaluate quality of patient care through patient rounds.
• Communication with patients and family regarding patient care and keeping the Unit Manager of patient care problems.
• Assist with the coaching of junior staff within the Unit.
• Responsible for Theatre where allocated.

• In possession of Operating Room Techniques Diploma
• Registered Nurse with South African Nursing Council
• Previous experience in Theatre as a Scrub Sister in a multi discipline environment especially vascular
• At least 5 years private hospital experience in Theatre as an Scrub Nurse
• Flexible with working hours and able to do calls
• Able to work under pressure to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions
• Ability to produce work of high quality by accurately checking processes and tasks
